Matt Moore is the latest artist to design a print for the Ray-Ban Rare Prints Special Series Collection. Matt designed three colorful Wayfarers, which are available only at Sunglass Hut! To support the Rare Prints collection, as well as Sunglass Hut’s exclusive Matt W. Moore designs, Sunglass Hut held an event April 1 where Matt painted an oversize canvas in front of the Herald Square store in New York. Matt spent nine hours painting the canvas, and he interacted with nearby pedestrians who stopped to watch the work in progress and take pictures. Onlookers were invited to explore the store, enjoy an early evening snack and listen to music by DJ Jesse Marco. To promote the event and the exclusive Matt W. Moore Rare Prints style, three key New York stores (Herald Square, SoHo , and Times Square Marriott ) featured large barricade signage that echoed Matt’s colorful designs. Matt W Moore is the founder of MWM Graphics, a design and illustration studio based in Portland, Maine. He works across several disciplines, from colorful digital illustrations in his signature “Vectorfunk” style, to freeform watercolor paintings and massive aerosol murals.
